Vancouver Island Photographer

Hi, my name is Gina

I’m a Vancouver Island photographer with a passion for nature and the outdoors. My work is inspired by my personal sailing journeys along BC’s rugged coast on our sailboat Sakana, and by my international travels in remote, and preferably off-the-beaten-path destinations.
For me, photography is about exploration and capturing the beauty of wild places. I mean, nothing beats a good view and beautiful light! But, it's also about storytelling and the meaningful connections we make along the way with the people, animals and land we share these moments with.
Looking for photos to make an impact on your next project?
Photography is a powerful tool for sharing the emotions that are ignited when we get out there and connect with the world around us.

Sailing Photography from Vancouver Island

Come aboard with me through photos on Sakana, our Yamaha 30' sailboat, as I explore the hidden coves of the island archipelagos and inlets of the British Columbia coastline. I offer sailing photography with a unique perspective of the Salish Sea, where the ocean meets misty, evergreen lined shores and mountain peaks. Commercial licensing of these coastal images is available.

Travel Photography

Through my personal travels as well as photographing international women's adventure group trips, you will often find me with camera in hand in remote, off the beaten path destinations around the world. Travel awakens the soul and connects us deeply to both our shared planet and each other as humans with shared emotions and experiences. Discover a collection of travel photography that highlights the intersection of adventure and culture around the world. From rugged landscapes and remote journeys to vibrant traditions and everyday moments, these images capture the diversity and richness of global experiences.
